Responsibilities by function

The following explains what each party does within the scheme structure.

Sales & member onboarding (Scheme Seller)
Marketing, enquiries and onboarding support performed by Haven.
Administration & service coordination (Administrator)
Membership administration, claims guidance, repatriation coordination, documentation support, and Zimbabwe-side partner coordination (where applicable) performed by Administrator Name (FSP Number).
Underwriting (insurance risk)
Policy issuance, assumption of insurance risk, benefit determination and insurer compliance obligations will rest with the appointed underwriter (To Be Appointed TBA).
Underwriter to be appointed. Once confirmed, insurance risk, policy issuance, and benefit determination will rest with the appointed underwriter.

Claims guidance

General guidance. Documentation requirements vary by claim type and jurisdiction (South Africa/Zimbabwe).

  1. Notify the Administrator support line as soon as possible.
  2. Provide member details and required documentation.
  3. Claim is assessed in line with policy terms and the benefit schedule of the appointed underwriter.
  4. Where repatriation applies, coordination is arranged via the scheme’s service workflow.
